Also don't forget Baen. (http://www.baen.com and
http://www.webscriptions.com)

Baen provide ebooks in MS, Palm, Mobirocket, /HTML/, and /RTF/ formats!
You can purchase individual tiles for about USD4 per book, or buy a
month's releases (usually 2-3 new titles and 3-4 back catalogue) for USD15.
You can then download your titles in whichever format(s) you want, as
often as you want. The new works start to become available 3 months

Very interesting I shall have to check out their offerings. But I should
mention that $4 per book is not cheapest as far as ebooks go. I have seen a
lot of good titles for say $2 or less. However, it sounds that if you buy
in quantify you will get a better discount which may lower price to what I
have seen elsewhere.

I am quite surprised that they offer ebooks before official release, I never
would have thought a publisher would do that. I should also mention that
all of the ebook sellers I have seen, once you purchase a book you can go
back and download it any time as many times as you wish so that is not very
unique to ebook publishers.

I am relieved to see that there are more ebook publishers creating
non-encrypted ebooks than I had previously thought (I guess I need to do
some more searching).
