If you can install packages and have a card, ethernet is one way to go.
Otherwise, you need to get a serial to USB adapter like the one made by
KeySpan. You can usually find them on eBay for not too much. You'll
need Classic to run NCU, which for me, has been the most reliable means
of syncing up.
