Hello Everyone,
I've been a member of this list for years. I've also been a lurker for
most of that time. I believe this is only my second post. My reason for
posting now is that I have two Messagepads that I'm going to part with
and before I put them on eBay I thought I'd give the community the
opportunity. I know some of you collect them and others just like to
have a great many Newtons at home.

  First: Price $85
Newton Messagepad 120
leather case
7v power adaptor
1 Apple Newton branded 2mb storage card
charging stand
unopened box of 24 plastic eMate replacement pens

The charging stand is included but I have AA's in the newton. The
rechargeables wouldn't hold a charge. The leather case shows some wear
as does the Newton itself but nothing major. I will put in a fresh set
of batteries as well as a backup battery. The Newton powers up just
fine. The screen has no scratches that I can find. It has all the
standard apps plus some games on the card. It has all 4 rubber feet as
well as the original telescoping stylus.

Second: Price $250
Newton Messagepad 2100 (not an upgraded 2000)
9W power adaptor
original stylus
Hayes optima 33.6 card modem
four (4) 4mb storage cards
SER-001 serial port replacement board (not installed)
unopened box of 24 plastic eMate replacement pens

This is an awesome machine. I bought this for my daughter but she never
used it. The screen has a couple small scratches but has had a screen
protector on it as long as I've had it. The scratches are not visable
under the protector. No jaggies. The screen is very bright. I wish my
Newton's screen was this bright. The SER-001 is still in its original
shipping envelope. Including the anti-static bag. I was always too
afraid to attempt the installation. To be honest I have never tried the
modem. This one runs on AA's so the battery cage is included
(obviously).

I hope I've given you enough info. If I haven't, write me off list and
ask or LMK if your interested.

Thanks,

Chris Harding
