Actually it's not that awesome. You are probably better off buying an
adapter that also has OSX drivers...

Just a thought.

The Keyspan PDA adapter is one example.

Keyspan part # USA-19QW

This one has a PC style DB-9 serial connector, or there is also the
dual keyspan serial adapter.
