Huh?

It seems to me this is not true at all.

The current driver implements the ATA storage capability at the PCMCIA
level.

Using a USB or Firewire card would require a software interface to
these standards which we do not currently have.

So the answer is no.

I know Paul has definitely mentioned some insanely large storage
capabilities for the current driver, so I don't think that is factor.

The fact that there is no USB driver and No Firewire driver is what
makes this a no go.
