I just saved a bunch of money on my screen protectors!
I've been using Avery Super Heavy Duty Diamond Clear sheet protectors.
These are those 8.5x11 plastic pockets, punched for a 3-ring binder for
putting pages or picture in. A box of 25 costs ~$10 (if I recall
correctly). One sheet protector will 4-6 Newton 2100 sized screen
protector and about 8-10 Palm Pilot sized protectors.
They would be tucked under the edge and have a slick writing surface.
I tried various satin finshed sheet protectors, but they blurred/dimmed
the screen too much. I also tries overhead foils, but the scratch too
easily.
The satin finished ones have a texture similar to NuSheilds. It is just
a slightly rought surface that give a little more friction on the
stylus, and make it feel more like writing on paper.
