This should probably be the reason as the device is really focused to
their market.
BTW, another article mentioned a similar licenced device being develop
in Brazil (my country).

I will try to get in touch with the guys at Univerity of Minas Gerais
who are holding the project.

As the device is running Linux, has a built in USB port (based on the
photos), color/sound/etc... could it be possible to port NOS to it?
