To me, the device looks cool. However, I do agree with most of what you
said.

IMHO, I see this device as a bit Japan centric. What the Japanese want
is somewhat different than the rest of th world it seems.

The battery life of 2.5 hours is fine. Long enough for the train ride to
work.

This device is for the person who would like laptop functionality but
with a much smaller form factor. Similar to the OQO device I would think.

As for the OS, the Newt OS is the best by far.

However, for most folks, having the same OS on their desktop, laptop and
PDA is probably much better for them. Keeps it simple.

I am looking forward to seeing this device in person. It is so hard to
get a true feel for a new device until you've had a chance to feel/play
with it.
