Hi Mark
Cheap eMates can end up being expensive, defective battery, no power
adapter, damaged display ribbon, dark spots on the display and no
memory expansion.
I have purchased a number of units on eBay with good success with
prices around $100, but batteries needed re-celled and display
tensioning springs needed lubricated. I have an excellent unit with
all preventive service done and with memory expansion installed- not
cheap but an excellent value. Contact me off list if interested.
