This was the answer! Thank you all who helped me. I've Installed NKC 2.0 and
it runs fine. Now, I would like to have this software on my Windows XP
system, is very ugly to use a 486 or have to slow down my system to sync
with the Newton. Does anybody have any idea or have learned the Newton
protocol here, in first generation devices, so I can make educational
purpose software for Newton connection over Windows XP?

Andy.

Hi all.
I have some good news - My MP100 (known as Fig) is now talking to my
husbands old Win95 machine.

I tried an old 486 running Win3.11 and could not get any com port to work.
I then loaded the NKC2.0 on the 95 machine and TA-DA, it worked the first
time. This machine in running an older P1.So I synced and was able to
install a package as well.

Thanks to you all for ALL your help.

Andres - do you have access to a Win95 machine? Also what version of the NKC
are you using?
