i have a 120, and always had this problem trying to connect to my 7500
- i blame that problem on not actually being able to get the newton
utilities onto it though, seeing as it couldnt download the software,
couldnt handle disk images and wouldnt take me just placing the
software onto non-apple floppies for some reason. I also encounter
this problem on my powerbook when i dont start the connection from the
mac first - is that the problem?

I'm scared in case i sound patronizing and conescending, but are you
starting the connection from the mac first and then, when directed,
attempting the connection from your newton?

Please don't be angry at me for asking that question!

Henry.
