It's a matter of taste of course, but for the subdued look I prefer, I
open grayscale screenshots in GraphicConverter and change the brightness
of the red and green channels to -40 and that of the blue channel to -
100. The result looks a realistic green, but it more closely matches a
Newton with the backlight switched off.
