Huh? the only difference (AFAIK) is that a type 3 card is physically
thicker than a type 2, as a type 2 is thicker than a type 1. No special
"driver" for being a type 3 card...

that said - it might be that there are no type 3 cards that are driver
compatible with the newton, but this would be coincidence...
