Exporting as RTF works very well. I took all my class notes for a couple
of years on the newton, and they were about as complicated and hard to
export as you can get (IMO) - ink text inline with text for characters
that I couldn't find on the screen keyboard, such as for variable names
with subscripts and superscripts; diagrams made up of shapes and
sketches with text labels placed next to certain points of the
diagram... everything that could possibly make exporting tricky, I did
at some point. I even had a couple of diagrams (again made up of a
mixture of shapes, sketches, and text) that could only be viewed in
landscape mode, because they were so wide.

And people wonder why I won't give up my little green friend :-)
