One potential problem with horizontal screens is neck ache due to
looking down all the time. Hand-held screens tend to be used in
whatever position suits the moment, but full-sized displays tend to
be used near-vertically because of basic posture needs.
Although it would certainly alleviate the tired-arm issue. And I
always did like the idea of sinking a screen into my desk at a
shallow angle. (The reason I never did is mostly to do with dust. And
my cat. :-)
