[NTLK] I Need Help Converting Bar Code Scanner Software

All right. It's getting late, I'm dead tired, and I'm meeting a buddy tomorrow to go on an insane mountain biking ride the day before the Newton Gathering. It's foolish, I know, but I have to blow off steam, or I'll end up shooting squirrels out of my bathroom window all day.

I've tried to get the bar code scanner software installed on my Newton, but it won't work. I'd like to bring the bar code scanner software to the event on Sunday, so we can try a few other tricks, but my old PowerMac is not exactly portable. The diskette is in Mac format. Somebody long ago gave me a program called HFVE Explorer, which reads Mac diskettes on a PC. Using that, I seem to have been able to transfer the bar code scanner software and all the requisite sub files onto my PC (Still have to get them on to my laptop for Sunday's event, but that's a trivial matter). However, all of the files seem to end in the suffix .bin. The question is, is there an EASY way for a non-Mac person to create or extract a workable .pkg file from this gibberish? Perhaps I could send these files to somebody and it could be done easily? Help!

Confused and tired,

Matt the K.
