The connection works fine on the phone and with my PowerBook. It
seems that the phone isn't properly responding to any commands. The
Bluetooth connection indicator on the phone flashes for a moment,
then the Newton throws an error. The signal connection indicator,
which flashes "G" when a GPRS connection is in progress and then
changes to a "G" in a box when the GPRS connection is established,
never changes.

And yes, I am on the unlimited Internet plan, so it's not the network
refusing access.
