[NTLK] Names error, help!

I set Names to sort by card type, and it did so (at least partially),
but then gave me a type -48402 error, and will not let me launch Names
at all any more.
I'm away from home and I have no backup with me, what can I do? Can
you delete the prefs files for Newton apps?
