Thanks for all the replies. Yes, I will probably take geeky pictures of me
with the Newton overseas.

Another Q: I just bought an iPod car adapter today. Umm, do all cars in
the UK use 12V neg ground in their lighter sockets? I want to bring that
as the only charger for the iPod. (It was the iPod lounge comment that got
me remembering)
