according to (my admittedly ancient memory) I recall the engineers were
quite irritated that apple got the gui for what Xerox ended up getting
in exchange. this was covered in the industry press at the time (and
unfortunatly I have no copies to go back to.

I recall being happy that MS got the win in the lawsuit at the time :-(
based on the press coverage at Xerox. neither one of them made any
difference to me as I was using Apollo Domain IX at the time.

but that's all over now.
