I would like to take advantage of those Mac-users here who have=20
experience with upgrading a Pismo Powerbook. You can reply off-list so=20=

as to keep the noise down. :-)

This question, for those of you who have upgraded your Pismo to a G4.

Has anybody upgraded using the FastMac processor upgrade? Are you=20
satisfied with it? Is it cooler, run longer on battery than the G3? Can=20=

you compare it to the Daystar?

Now, for those who chose Daystar? Why did you chose it over other=20
options? Do you have any experience with the other options?

I would like to get the Daystar board, but I would either have to fork=20=

over big bucks for the 1 Day option, or live without my computer for a=20=

couple weeks, which, due to my travel schedule, I am currently unable=20
to do! This is the primary reason I'm considering the FastMac option,=20
as I can pre-order the replacement board, put it in, and send back my=20
old board, and have virtually 0 downtime. However, I worry about=20
quality, heat and battery. So, I would love any and all advice from=20
those knowledgeable. TIA!
