I did a brainwipe on the Newton and reformatted my memory cards. It was
much faster afterward too! I attached to my Powerbook running NCU under
Classic Mode to install some packages but I pretty much use the Newton as a
standalone device and mostly for notes as others have mentioned. I too only
recently picked up my Newts again after much neglect. You can find pretty
much anything you'd need at the www.unna.org site.
