andy: suggest you review Jared prior to putting it into the hands of your kids, unless they live in a separate structure or at least on another floor of your house.

side note: to my great satisfaction, i was able to set up an old friend's son's new iMac over xmas, and included the OS X version of Jared on it. the son's name? Jared. the freeverse folks enjoyed hearing that at macworld last month.
