There is no way a Newt can accidentally charge batteries. With a 1x0 It
requires a switch in the bottom of the battery compartment (a little
square button) to be pressed down for the Newt to see them as
rechargeable. One way to do it is place a little piece of folded paper
so this button is pressed down after you insert the batteries. But it
won't be pressed down by accident.
