That is about the same result i get here... It works, but usually
needs a reboot of everything after a package install...

I have pretty much switched to using the incomparable Blunt bluetooth
program to receive my packages from the OSX "bluetooth file exchange"
program which is in the utilities folder...

This allows for somewhat slow, but wireless receipt of packages in the
newton inbox. Then using Eckharts' IC/VC extension the packages can be
"put away".

Very slick. Luis' suggestion of using a webserver to provide the
packages for download is also a good one....
