Some of you may know this:
If your Newton EVER stops reacting to a TAP or the screen goes to a
very low contrast.
Do this, remove all cards AND Battery.
Let it sit for about 0.5 an hour and then plug it back in to the
adapter.
Everything should go back to normal, this is what happened to me and it
worked, no data was lost.
