I don't know what to actually call it, but I call it the "glove case".
It's leather, form-fitting, and has velcro-secured stiff flaps over the
screen ant top edge, and a zipper down the side over the PCMCIA card
slots, and cut-outs for the power switch, stylus recepticle, and
microphone. The Newt (with the door folded around the back) slides down
through the top opening. The case adds about 3/8 of an inch to any
dimension of the newt.
