One issue that can arise is that the remanufactured packs can be
slightly out of tolerance in size, and could be a tight fit in come
message pads...

My first recelled pack didn't fit right and took a BUNCH of fiddling to
make it better. it's still not perfect, but it does work great and it
doesn't need to be ejected very often :~)

Using AA Nimh batteries that are charged externally and installed in
the alkaline tray is another way to go.
