Nope. The Newton uses so many proprietary chips it is nearly
impossible to write an OS for the Newton (aside from the one it has)
as well as port the Newton OS to another platform. I had once found a
great website that discussed the Newton's OS and hardware integration
in detail but lost it... it was talking about porting the Newton OS to
other platforms because the number of Newtons out there are slowly
decreasing.
