Keep in mind that Apple offered upgrades to get people to buy the 130.
 You would trade in your old Newton for the new 130. You had to pay
some, but that was the gist of it. The 120 was, IIRC, able to be
upgraded to 2.0 through this program... you may have gotten a 120 that
went through the program, so it says 130, but wasn't given the right
ROM.

The 120 can run both 1.3 and 2.0... the 130 only 2.0... (according to
Mactracker)

You have a really weird Newton then, an anomaly. Doesn't make it
worth any more thought.
