I've used Flight Recorder for years, and I never had this problem. But I
don't cross the international date line that much. :-)

Flight recorder does alter the internal clock based on your schedule, so it
you enter a flight from New York to London, it will ask you if you'd like to
change the time when the plane touches down.

You might try contacting Scott Silverman at SilverWare to see if he's ever
heard of this issue with the Newton software before.
