Even with extensions turned off, it still takes for-ev-er on (5-10+ minutes)
on my iBook G4 1.2ghz (12"), running 10.4.2 and 768mb RAM. For everything
else I do, this computer is plenty fast (not that its a speed demon). But
for this install, it makes no difference. Unfortunately, with the system
install disks, there is no way to install a dual-boot setup. I may invest
some time into figuring it out later, but I'll just run the NCU installer
and wait for it to finish for now.
