Hello Frank, hello list,

I have a MP 2100 with the SER-001 board installed. And, indeed, the
bottom of the unit is cracked. The crack begins exactly under the SER-001
board, and gently dies under the model information sticker. It's 4,5 cm
long (US people may convert this in inches via the Newton Formulas package =
:-)

Thanks for this information, it will prevent this from repeating itself
with a new bottom piece I plan to install.

Keep up the good work.

And now something completely different : the (nice) Formac Watchandgo
cardbus tv tuner is based on the Samnsung model also used in the
AverMedia model. Maybe you may find the AverMedia software somewhere, and
use it with the Formac card on a windows XP laptop=3F Otherwise I may be
interested (I have a PowerBook Pismo hapily upgraded to G4/550).

Best regards from Grenoble,

Andreas
