Koby,

Does your serial cable have the same plug at both ends? It may be a
PC style cable which has a small circular 8-pin plug on one end and a
9-pin or 25-pin plug on the other end. My Keyspan adapter has the
9-pin plug on it, but from your message it sounds like yours has the
circular 8-pin plug.

If this is the case, the cable you need is a Macintosh serial printer
cable with the (male) 8-pin plug on both ends.
