I use a Keyspan-28 and I don't have a dongle.
Adriano made me a cable to connect directly from my 2100 serial port
to the Keyspan.

He has his own USB connector and he doesn't advertise the cable he
made for me. Since I had already bought my Keyspan before I talked
to him he did me a favour and made the special cable. The price was
right.
