I downloaded the 2010 date fix software here:

But before I install, is it really safe? If it is, why call it Alpha? Why
not version 1.0? And if it is safe, what about the fact that it doesn't fix
the "minute timer," as described in the "Known Issues" section of this page:

What is the "minute timer"?
