This archive is a publicly run service with no direct connection to
the NewtonTalk list or it's administrators. This problem is impacting
other mailing lists archived by MARC as well, not just NewtonTalk.
Occasionally, they have been known to make the archive read-only
while they doing maintenance, but there is nothing noted on their
news page since the last outage in January.
