[NTLK] Connection hardware question

Thanks to you all for pointing me to J&K Sales for my brand spanking new
2100. It's beautiful.

However, getting it to hook up to my serial cable...I know this is old
school basics, but I've searched through several Newton FAQs and am
coming up dry. Does this thing (see below) hook up the 2100 port to an
old 8 pin serial cable?
