As a lurker, I don't see how being a hanger-on is neccessarily bad. I
*do* gain an advantage, in having foreknowledge of many possible
problems, as well as additional useful knowledge. However, in the
sense of the definition, "advantage" as in "advantage over someone
else." I don't think I'm gaining any more of an advantage than Matt.
