Not that I'm exactly a Newton user myself (I'm planning to buy one
once my finances are in better shape...), but comparing the quality
of freeware versus Open Source apps, I've always round OSS to be
vastly superior, since *anyone* can contribute, even if it's just
being a guinea pig (OSS is a constant beta test).

...That and I'm a big Open Source advocate... >.>
