That is kind of strange.
I recall that these cards were Flash Cards since I was issued one of these
when I started out doing laptop support for IBM laptops. And even recently
there was an eBay auction indicating an IBM branded Flash Card and even the
seller notated it was Newton Compatible... I'm wondering bdoinI mentioned it
only because there was an auction awhile back that was for a standard IBM
Flash Card for those older laptops. Too bad I didn't win that auction... or
was it just fortunate for me?

Well then I'm going to have to check it out as I've got a IBM 701 Butterfly
Keyboard laptop in the basement and I was going to install an ATA Flash Card
to replace the hard drive assemble which also looks like a PCMCIA Flash Card
connect which is a hard drive tray.... If that won't fit then that means I
need that special card you are using :( hey you mention it was Simple
Branded - can yo back track the with the vendor specs?

Happy you had no damage.
