You don't need a tablet to activated it.
I have a Mac Mini in my car with a small touch screen and I have try
it (not while driving:-)
The result is not so bad.
To activate it
INK Hand writing recognition
- Go to /System/Library/CoreServices/Menu Extras/
- Double Click Ink.menu.
- An INK Icon will appear in the menu bar
- Chose Ink Preference
- Enable Ink by clicking ON ;-)
Apple Causal is the default font.
They have 3 languages English, French and German
