NBU is Newton Backup Utility and it is also on UNNA:
http://www.unna.org/view.php?/apple/connection_utils/ForMac/NewtonBackupUtility

It works much in the same way as NCU, but with less features so it is
possible that "NBU" was a typo. I would try NCU and see if that works,
it may. If not then grab NBU and try that.
