[NTLK] Back in the fold

I never left the fold permanently but I did get a smartphone (Treo
700p) with the hope that it would work with my new macs and be as
integrated as my Newton 2100.
Alas, I love some of the features of the Treo like Google Maps, but
I've gone back to the Newton because of it's integration. I print
invoices directly from Time Reporter via IRA to my HP 350 while on
the road and I'm always asked what kind of computer I use in the
car. The Newton's brain just works no matter what I'm thinking of or
what I have to retrieve.
I can find customers and notes going back 4 years without a problem.
I do miss a color screen and bright back lighting but as an
organizer, scheduler, and time management tool, I've found nothing
better.

And that's unbelievable to me that Newton has been able to sustain
itself through this great community.
