[NTLK] Wireless Help?

Hello all,

This is my first post.

I discovered the list after Googling "Newton Buffalo wireless" and
magically finding a post from a certain Brian who had the same wireless
card as I do, back in 2003. And it was working for him.

The Newton is a 2100, the card is a Buffalo WLI-PCM-L11GP which the
Newton + WaveLAN driver recognizes as a MELCO WLI-PCM-L11. I can
*almost* get it to work, but not quite.

I am using some newer hardware - my router is the new Airport Extreme
Base Station (n). The Newton seems to connect and then fail at
the last minute. For example, when receiving mail, the progress bar
indicates that it has connected to the Internet, but then I get an
error message saying it can't resolve the POP server address I've given
it.

Sorry to be a bother, but do you have any ideas? I have tried
everything I can think of (no WEP, 40 bit WEP, 128 bit WEP, restricting
the Base Station to "b," DHCP, Manual set up with a pre-assigned IP
from the Base Station, sharing the Internet connection through my
MacBook Pro and trying to connect to it... all with the same results).

If anyone out there has a similar configuration working, I'd be so
happy to hear the details.

Thanks,

Ian
