Thanks Simon -

My Airport Extreme settings permit me to "reserve" an IP address for a
connecting device based on the device's MAC address, so this is what I
have done for the MAC address on the card.

In the driver's manual setup, I then give it the IP address I have
reserved for it. No luck, and it doesn't work under DHCP either.

I have tried to "reserve" IPs for the laptops in the house, and it
works fine, both manual and DHCP.

The Airport Express doesn't allow this "reservation" business. So I
guess that's that.

Will have to find another way to test the card.

I.
