Nice screen technology! And imagine a next-generation Newton that could
take up hardly more space in a pocket than two 2100 battery packs, yet open
up to give a display real estate equal to or greater than the 2100's screen.

But the real question, in the words (almost) of Donald Sutherland in "the
Dirty Dozen", is, ""Very pretty, Polymer Vision. Very pretty. But, can it
write?"

Full marks for form factor and cutting edge tech, but I see no sign that
this is more than a hot-rod reader, alas!

IMO there's so much focus on HOW to do portable devices that the companies
are losing sight of WHY to do them. Or maybe I really am so out of touch
with reality that my overriding desire for something I can use as an
all-in-one diary, addressbook, planner, notebook and general electronic
P(D)A has gone the way of the dodo.

I'll keep the dodo.

Shalom.
Christian
