I am not aware of any direct way to get names from the newt and into
access or excel. there is a program in development to move that info
into outlook (or express?) but I believe it's pre-alpha at this time.
there is betat software for the mac but that feature has not been
released at this time.

Anything else is either very techy or old, or old and techy ;-)

ps the easiest would be to sync it with organiser (if it runs on you
version of what MS calls an operating system) it works on win2k, haven't
tried it on xp (my xp machines are for games) and I've yet to get my
hands on vista (but it just looks like an expensive way to get a slow
mac, so I haven't bothered).

Special knowledge can be a terrible disadvantage if it leads you too
far along a path that you cannot explain anymore.
