Re: [NTLK] Newton Linux Port

i know that it has limited ram etc.
i'm not interested in using the xserver, a bash would completly fit my
needs.

thank for the zaurus suggestion, i can say you a zaurus is a nice thing
i used various modles over the years...
the problem of the Z is the very small screen... that's really
uncomfortable and the battery time is bad.
from my point of view the Z6000 is the best one. the Problem with my
Z6000 was that i wasn't
able to find any replacement battery for under $150 so i sold it.

than why using a newton if there are other devices?
That's easy: i love the newton, it has a great battery time...but from
time to time i need a bash shell :-(

i am sure about a newton mp2x00 linux port, i remember a green website
with screenshot of a running kernel with a shell.
perhaps i could replace the rom of the newt. the problem is that i'm not
able to find the website again... it could be that it was a bsd port i'm
not really sure...

regards
Chris
