There is a Newton list on LowEndMac.com. It's very quiet, almost no
traffic at all. Another option would be to create one in Google
Groups and keep it dormant until there is an outage with the main
list. Like the old NewtonTalk2, people would subscribe to both list
and when there is an outage, the list would be put into action.

If this is something people would like, I can create that spare list
and let you all know how to join it. Again, this would not to compete
with the main NewtonTalk list, just to be put in service when the
main list has an outage.
